Job Details

Provides strategic leadership and business management of clinics by setting objectives, planning, staffing and directing activities. Ensures efficient, economic and quality performance to support and provide quality health care services. Recommends administrative policy changes and consults with and advises Vice President of Clinical Affairs and Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of problems related to clinic operations. Acts as a liaison between clinics and Accounting and trains staff accordingly. Oversees business aspects of clinics and ancillary services and works closely with administration to meet goals and objectives while continually looking for opportunities to improve processes. Provides guidance and supervision to clinic managers and supervisors. Responsible for developing and executing marketing plans to the community. Oversees review of billing procedures for accurate coding of services and supplies. Oversees all functions relating to the revenue cycle to maximize collections of payments. Analyzes revenue data and reports to the Vice President of Clinical Affairs and Vice President & Chief Financial Officer. Performs chart audits to ensure revenue integrity, clinical compliance and adherence to regulatory standards and guidelines. Oversees contracts and contract compliance.


Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and three years experience. Must have excellent understanding and ability to apply accounting and business principles in a clinical and clinical research setting. Must be a professional, self-starting leader, with a strong work ethic, superb problem solving skills and excellent analytical abilities. Must be able to work independently and with a diverse team.


Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in business, finance, accounting, health care administration or related field preferred. Ideal applicants will have clinical management experience, as well as clinical trial exposure. 


Physical Demands:

Regularly sits, talks, listens/hear.  Occasionally stands, walks and lifts or moves up to 10 pounds. Standard clinic/office environment.
