Job Description

The Boeing Company has an opening for a AWACS ALAMO Lab Project Manager in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.


Primary Responsibilities:

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Oversight, and management responsibility for AWACS ALAMO lab build
  • Project baselining activities (IMS, Greenrooms, budgets, EVM baseline)
  • Weekly EVM analysis and evaluation for the AWACS ALAMO lab
  • Responsible for Risks, Issue and Opportunity baseline administration for AWACS ALAMO lab
  • Ensure that the AWACS ALAMO lab is configured to support the program
  • Ensures Capability Teams are executing the identified and assigned tasks and providing appropriate tracking and reporting per plan (cost, schedule) for the AWACS ALAMO lab
  • Develops action plans as required to ensure on-time completion of all project tasks and deliverables.

Typical Education/ Experience:

Bachelor's degree and typically 15 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 13 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


Basic Qualification (Required):


This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

  • Experience in project planning
  • Program management experience
  • Risk/Issue/Opportunity management
  • Expertise in technical writing, Critical Path analysis, and variance analysis.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Active Clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • Earned Value Management (EVM) experience
  • Experience with Program Management Best Practices (highly preferred Program Management Body or Knowledge or ANSI standards)
  • Experience building Integrated Master Plans
  • Large Aircraft Hardware/Software integration and test experience
