Description

Position Purpose

The business intelligence analyst will be involved with projects which require testing of data and implementation of new processes, procedures, and reports.

Responsibilities

  • Process and develop effective reports for departments across the company and upper management to help understand key business metrics.
  • Audit data received and data created for quality assurance.
  • Participate in brainstorming to establish and/or harden processes, projects, and reports.
  • Automate/Improve existing and new processes to improve efficiencies in all areas of data gathering and reporting.
  • Take on companywide special projects as needed to reach established goals.
  • Willingness to work with internal customers to assist, train, problem-solve, and complete projects.
  • Use strong attention-to-detail and analytical skills.
  • Be a learner and a teacher in collaboration with team.
  • Have a strong desire to find solutions to known and unknown problems.
  • Research as necessary in order to find knowledge essential to completing tasks.
  • Cross-train with team for established projects.

Qualifications

Education/Certification:

  • Bachelors Degree required

Skills/Abilities:

  • Proficient in SSRS, SQL Report Builder and Power BI tools.
  • Knowledgeable in basic programming (especially Visual Basic for Application) preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence concepts and responsibilities
  • Cheerful, motivated, positive.
  • Multi-tasking while completing tasks in timely manner.
  • Advanced computer skills.
  • Past experience with testing and implementation procedures.
