BASIC PURPOSE: The Business Systems Analyst role is to research and help the team provide solutions when evaluating Salesforce’s Service Cloud platform. This will include interacting with business unit stakeholders, product owners, developers, administrators and vendors to ensure core goals and objectives are being met.   This individual will apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills on key Salesforce initiatives to increase Love’s value proposition with the platform.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide Project Management skills to lead key initiatives utilizing Salesforce Service Cloud technology platform where needed
  • Display a proven track record of acting as a Scrum Master to support Salesforce initiatives while adhering to Agile Principles and Methodologies to cultivate collaborative atmosphere
  • Help define User Stories, facilitate planning and grooming sessions and remove blockers where necessary to help move the team and projects forward
  • Work with the Product Owner(s) where necessary to help define, document and deliver deliverables required to support projects
  • Understand the concepts in performing mass data imports/exports using standard API’s or other common Salesforce tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new feature functional designs, functional requirements, limitations, and implementations of new initiatives
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing of new application functionality and work toward mitigating all issues
  • Identify opportunities for application optimization, redesign, or enhancements to enable and support multiple business units
  • Provide input on conversations regarding best practices for security models, operational support strategies, workflow, data validation and analytics
  • Demonstrate Salesforce capabilities to solve business problems by implementing Proof of Concepts and producing all necessary details supporting the effort
  • Responsible to complete necessary items related to system design, configuration, customizations, integration and support
  • Follow standard project management methodologies to deliver projects on time, on budget and with high quality
  • Interface with key stakeholders and business leaders to provide timely updates with regards to progress
  • Proven track record of building strong relationships with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to earn their trust, confidence and respect

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor/Master degree in MIS, Business, Technology or related field
    • Salesforce Certifications are a plus but not a requirement
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2 years in a Salesforce Technical/Analyst/Project Manager Role
    • Agile methodology experience including Scrum
    • Familiarity with Agile Accelerator or similar tools (JIRA, Rally etc.)
    • Strong Analytical and Data Analysis Skills

 

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Skills:
    • Quick Learner with an ability to ramp up in technologies and modules to meet business needs
    • Basic knowledge of databases, systems integration, database design, SQL, and data reporting structures
    • Ability to manage numerous competing demands in a high stress environment
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 

 

  • Typical Physical Demands:
    • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping
    • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
  • Requires normal range of hearing and vision
