Computer Science Instructor

 

 

The Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics (OSSM) is a residential school for mathematically and scientifically inclined high school juniors and seniors located in Oklahoma City.

 

OSSM seeks applicants with qualifications and experience teaching college level Computer Science courses. The ideal candidate can teach Introduction to Computer Science, Object-Oriented Programming with Java, Data Structures, and Computer Networking.

 

General Characteristics and Qualifications

 

1.   A distinguished record of professional success.

2.   Excellent interpersonal skills as exemplified by a record of working well with faculty, staff, parents, and students.

3.   An understanding of, and experience with, mathematics and science education for gifted students.

4.   Strong academic credentials with a minimum of a master’s degree; Ph.D. desirable.

 

Salary

 

Competitive and commensurate with credentials.
