The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) is responsible for providing services to Oklahomans who are affected by mental illness and substance abuse. ODMHSAS strives to provide persistent, incremental improvements in the quality and effectiveness of treatment which results in better recovery for more Oklahomans.  Our state-operated facilities are commissioned to provide services that promote consumer empowerment, wellness, recovery, and integration in the community.

Change lives and come join a highly skilled multi-discipline team of professionals providing care to high risk individuals in a state of the art facility located in the heart of the metro area. The Oklahoma County Crisis Intervention Center (OCCIC) is looking for friendly, hard- working Consumer Recovery Specialist.

Responsibilities:

  • Works as a part of the treatment team by developing and maintaining a supportive relationship with consumers in order to address strengths, goals and barriers to recovery.
  • Records patient information in electronic medical records.
  • Works with consumers on daily living skills and other recovery topics.

Qualifications:

  • An associate’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience substituting two years of relevant experience for the required degree.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Possesses a strong commitment to patient well-being and safety and believes that recovery is possible!

Job Type/Salary: Full-time (8 hour shifts) All shifts available $20,800+ annually plus shift differentials when working evenings, nights and weekends.
