BASIC PURPOSE:

Gemini Motor Transport operates trucks across the United States, servicing Love's Travel Stops wholesale and retail customers. Our Fuel Transport positions are among the best in the industry. Gemini strives to achieve only the highest safety ratings in our business, for our professional drivers and loyal customers.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drives company trucks to destinations and operates equipment to transport fuel.
  • Have knowledge and comply with, all applicable federal, state, local and company rules and regulations that are in accordance with the accepted principals of the safe operation of a hazardous cargo tank motor vehicle.
  • Have knowledge and comply with, the proper methods of loading and unloading for the various cargos to be transported.
  • Report to logistics at the specified time and maintain contact with logistics as required.
  • Complete driver daily logs and all necessary delivery tickets, trip reports, fuel reports, damage reports, and other paperwork required by company, to be turned in as instructed.
  • Report to logistics at time specified and maintain contact with dispatch offices.
  • Comply with loading/unloading procedures for the appropriate cargos being transported.
  • Follow company guidelines in regards to acceptable conduct when dealing with customers, fellow employees, and the motoring public.
  • Represent the Company to our customers, the public and the trucking industry in a professional manner at all times.

Requirements

DOCUMENT REQUIREMENTS:

  • Each driver must have a Commercial Driver's License and other appropriate endorsements and state requirements to be carried in truck cab while driver is in service.
  • Each driver must qualify physically, and obtain a Medical Examiner's Certificate, under the requirements of 49 CFR, Section 391 43-49 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • 2 years of verifiable over-the-road driving experience.
  • Knowledge of all applicable DOT and Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Be able to any shifts on any day/s.
  • Ability to hook and unhook trailers when required.
  • The ability to drive for up to 11 hours and work a total of 14 hours, while transporting hazardous materials and sitting for extended periods of time in a truck tractor.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and meet the qualifications in 49 CFR Section 391.11(b)(1) of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Must be able to read and speak the English language, in accordance with 49CFR Section 391.11(b)(2) of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
  • The ability to walk, bend, reach, push, stoop, squat, and climb, as necessary, to perform vehicle inspections required under 49 CFR Sections 396.11-15 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
  • The ability to walk, bend, reach, push, stoop, squat, as well as grasp, lift, and handle heavy equipment as necessary, to ensure safety during the hooking and dropping processes of tractor/trailer combinations. as well as climb upon the trailer when necessary (for instance, to ensure closure of dome lids following loading or unloading), also when dealing with sections of hose that may exceed 20'in length, measure as many as 4"in diameter, and weigh as much as 75 lbs. This is to ensure safe and proper practice when coupling, and when disconnecting hose.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
  • Requires normal range of hearing, vision and smell.

BASIC PURPOSE: The primary purpose of the Staff Accountant position is to prepare internal and external financial presentations, monthly closing procedures, administration functions on all reporting systems, and accounting for sister companies.   • Assist the financial reporting supervisor in the month end close process; financial reporting process.
  • Enhance efficiencies through independent analysis of auditing of control procedures.
  • Identify and assess potential opportunities for improvement.
  • Interact with other departments and operations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent required
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • Experience:
    • 1-2 years relevant work experience

  • Hard Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office with strong emphasis on Excel

  • Work closely with Inside Support to insure proper account setup and timely and accurate customer support.
  • Responsible for complete and accurate customer data within Salesforce customer management software.
  • Represent Love’s at various state and national trade shows and conferences.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with all Love’s vendors. 
  • Actively pursue opportunities for personal development within the department and company.

Others it′s to where a customer can find something. Once in a while, you′ll get a tough one and that′s where you can really shine. OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION: Night Auditors’ are key in ensuring a profitable and well operated business. The Night Auditor will conduct all nightly audit-related duties while maintaining and promoting excellence in hospitality and customer service at all times; welcoming and serving guests in a courteous, efficient and friendly manner, both face-to-face and on the phone.

 

JOB SUMMARY: Audit responsibilities include nightly balancing duties, daily paperwork, and shift reports. While completing these duties, the Night Auditor will attend to guest needs such as guest check-in/check-outs, reservations, and attending to guest questions and needs.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Greet customers as you see them, speak politely, and assist customers
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of hotel information including, but not limited to, room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, the local area and other general product knowledge and answer guest questions and inquiries.
  • Input and retrieve information from the computer including but not limited to: confirmation of guest information, room rate, selection of rooms, coding electronic keys, and invoicing and billing of room rates and additional charges, processing debit and credit cards, accepting and recording various forms of payment, converting foreign currency, and processing gift certificates and cards.
  • Assist guests with check-out including, but not limited to, ensuring rooms are serviced are correctly accounted and ready for next guest to check-in.
  • Operate a cash register and maintain an accurate and organized drawer.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
  • Field guest complaints, conduct research and resolve and negotiate solutions for guest satisfaction, as needed.
  • Receive, input, retrieve and relay messages to guests, as needed.
  • Perform nightly balancing of in-room video and long-distance telephone services.
  • Perform nightly backup of server.
  • Perform express checkout folios.
  • Perform room key inventory.
  • Communicate all pertinent shift information to the Front Desk Supervisor, the General Manager, and desk staff.
  • Maintain a safe facility and use safety first practices to remain accident-free.
  • Other duties as assigned by your manager.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education:
    • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Experience:
    • Prior customer service, cash handling, and office accounting or auditing experience preferred

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Skills:
    • Hard Skills: Ability to learn and operate a casher register; Ability to learn and perform basic office/clerical tasks

  • Typical Physical Demands:
    • Regularly required to talk and hear.
    • Requires standing and walking, with some bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing.
    • Occasional light lifting not over 50lbs.
    • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will primarily be working within an office environment working directly with the public face-to-face and over the phone. Occasionally, the employee may be exposed to high-concentrated cleaning solutions, dust, dirt, or grime. The noise level in the work environment will be at a low level.

 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: No travel is expected for this position.
