JOB DESCRIPTION

BASIC PURPOSE: Under the direction of the Self Storage Manager, the Self Storage Associate will assist the manager in maintaining a clean and safe environment for the storage facility. They will greet, assist, and sell self storage units to customers in a friendly and efficient manner over the phone and in person. The Self Storage Associate will also perform basic housekeeping duties as assigned by the Manager.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet customers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner.
  • Rent storage to the walk in customer.
  • Professionally handle telephone inquiries, maximizing conversion of these into rentals.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by listening attentively and assessing and resolving problems promptly.
  • Be knowledgeable about unit availability and pricing so as to respond to inquiries in a quick, intelligent manner.
  • Actively sell and maintain a supply of merchandise.
  • Keeping a neat, clean safe and secure facility both inside and out.
  • Minor maintenance and daily lock checks must be conducted in all weather conditions.
  • Other duties assigned as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education:
    • HS Diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience:
    • 6 months of self-storage experience or retail experience preferred

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Skills:
    • Hard Skills: knowledge of Microsoft Office
    • Soft Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills, strong time management skills, strong organization skills, can-do attitude, sense of urgency, and strong work ethic
  • Typical Physical Demands:
    • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
    • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
    • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
    • Requires normal range of hearing and vision.

OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION: Night Auditors’ are key in ensuring a profitable and well operated business.   • Greet customers as you see them, speak politely, and assist customers
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of hotel information including, but not limited to, room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, the local area and other general product knowledge and answer guest questions and inquiries.
  • Input and retrieve information from the computer including but not limited to: confirmation of guest information, room rate, selection of rooms, coding electronic keys, and invoicing and billing of room rates and additional charges, processing debit and credit cards, accepting and recording various forms of payment, converting foreign currency, and processing gift certificates and cards.
  • Assist guests with check-out including, but not limited to, ensuring rooms are serviced are correctly accounted and ready for next guest to check-in.
  • Operate a cash register and maintain an accurate and organized drawer.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
  • Field guest complaints, conduct research and resolve and negotiate solutions for guest satisfaction, as needed.
  • Receive, input, retrieve and relay messages to guests, as needed.
  • Perform nightly balancing of in-room video and long-distance telephone services.
  • Perform nightly backup of server.
  • Perform express checkout folios.
  • Perform room key inventory.
  • Communicate all pertinent shift information to the Front Desk Supervisor, the General Manager, and desk staff.
  • Maintain a safe facility and use safety first practices to remain accident-free.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Greet customers as you see them, speak politely, and assist customers.
  • Maintains the basic upkeep of all rooms and common areas by ensuring all furniture, appliances and electrical equipment such as televisions, refrigerators, and light fixtures are in working order.
  • Ensures all paint and flooring meet company standards.
  • Repairs or replaces all HVAC systems such as individual air conditioning units as needed.
  • Cleans and maintains the hotel’s exterior spaces such as the parking lot, swimming pool, landscaping, etc.
  • Ensure the interior and exterior of the hotel is well maintained
  • Perform minor adjustments on HVAC systems, room furniture, fixtures and other items in the hotel
  • Supervise the preventative maintenance program
  • Report major repair needs to the General Manager
  • Assist in setup/cleanup of meeting rooms
  • Assist in other areas of the hotel as needed
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a safe facility and use safety first practices to remain accident-free.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education:
    • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent years of relevant work experience required.
  • Experience:

BASIC PURPOSE:

The primary purpose of the Help Desk Technician – Tier I is to provide front-line for the Love’s Support Center. The Help Desk Technician – Tier I’s job is to ensure proper computer operation so that end users can accomplish business tasks. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting and actively resolving end user help requests and escalating incidents when considered appropriate and necessary to maintain SLA expectations. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic and help request tracking tools.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve computer related issues for corporate and store employees, providing frontline service for all incoming requests.
  • Field necessary requests to the Support Center via both telephone and e-mail to ensure courteous, timely and effective resolution of end user issues.
  • Evaluate documented resolutions and analyze trends for ways to prevent future problems; alerting Help Desk Tech II’s when potential trends in incidents arise.
  • Record, track and document the Support Center request problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful attempts made, actions taken, through to final resolution.
  • Assist in software releases and roll-outs according to Change Management best practices.
  • Troubleshoot issues utilizing the following tools; software updates, drivers, knowledge based documents, FAQ resources on the Internet/Intranet, and diagnostic tools.
  • Reinforce SLAs to manage end-user expectations.
  • Other duties assigned as needed.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education:
  • HS Diploma or equivalent required
  • College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science and/or three years equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Experience:
  • Knowledge of basic computer hardware and peripherals.

BASIC PURPOSE: Solicits sales by telephoning businesses, which contributes to the healthy growth and profitability of the company.     

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contact businesses by telephone in order to solicit factoring sales.
  • Cold call, direct email and perform other lead generation activities through provided leads lists.
  • Obtain prospect interest through effective presentation of financial products, pricing, benefits and bundling of products. 
  • Close the sale through effective presentation of financial products, pricing, benefits and bundling of products. 
  • Work with Credit Underwriter to structure funding solutions benefitting the prospective factoring client and Love’s.  
  • Joint accountability with Operations for providing a “best-in-class” on-boarding experience for new clients.      

 

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education:
    • High School degree required, Bachelor degree preferred
  • Experience:
    • Prefer 1-5 years experience in call center or telemarketing environment.

 

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Skills:
    • Knowledge of factoring, financial products and/or trucking industry a plus.
    • Extremely well organized with attention to detail.
    • Excellent verbal presentation and phone skills; ability to handle heavy call volumes.
    • Sales and negotiation skills; specifically persistence, results driven, motivated, and ability to handle rejection.
    • Computer literacy a must in maintaining CRM sales database and heavy use of Microsoft Office products.
  • Typical Physical Demands:
    • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
    • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
    • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.

BASIC PURPOSE: The primary purpose of this position is to perform a variety of tasks/projects that address the needs of the Logistics department and to facilitate a learning opportunity for the Intern. 

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

What to expect.

You will help run the store by operating the cash register system and assisting customers getting them back on the road quickly. You′ll get questions too. Sometimes it′s asking for directions. Others it′s to where a customer can find something. Once in a while, you′ll get a tough one and that′s where you can really shine. Winning a customer over by being thoughtful and friendly means the world. We look for great people who care.
