OSU – Oklahoma City, located in the heart of Oklahoma City, is looking for a Division Head - Division of Health Sciences. 


Job Summary:

This leader is the chief academic officer for the division, responsible for the assigned division, responsible for division administration, planning, supervision, personnel, budgeting, operations, curriculum, and resource development.

Salary: Commensurate






Master's degree in field offered in the Division required, terminal


Work Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in the profession.  Minimum of 3 years of relevant, successful administrative experience


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

The Division Head is accountable for all processes and personnel within the division, which demands regular contact with members of own faculty/staff and other faculty/staff members of the university. This leader must be a champion of his/her faculty. Must work effectively and cooperatively with campus faculty, departments, and support units.  There is also regular contact with persons outside the university such as industry partners, potential donors, vocational/technical personnel, two and four-year program personnel, and advisory committees.  This requires an incumbent to use tact, diplomacy, and independent judgment. 

Communication skills – Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing with clear, grammatically correct English and prepare complex reports on deadline; requires interaction with supervisors, colleagues, students, alumni, advisory committee members, and the public, using tact, discretion, and independent judgment.

Computer skills – Must be demonstrably proficient in Microsoft Office (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel), as well as e-mail and Internet.
