BASIC PURPOSE: The in-house creative team at Love’s is looking for a dynamic Graphic Designer to join our growing department. From concept to completion, this position will allow you to show off your talents in both design and production. In this role you will work with internal and external clients to provide creative and engaging visual solutions that enhance our customer experience. With 430+ locations nationwide and partnerships with some of the largest brands in the country, this position presents a unique opportunity to showcase your design work to millions of customers every day.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute concepts for upcoming advertising, display campaigns and branding initiatives.
  • Create designs for use in all aspects of our day-to-day retail operations as well as internal projects and initiatives.
  • Track daily activities of projects in both design and production.
  • Project management and close follow-up on all projects.
  • Other duties assigned as needed.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education:
    • HS Diploma or equivalent required
    • College Degree in a design related field required
  • Experience:
  • Advanced knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Word, Excel, PPT and Outlook
  • Working knowledge of After Effects, Premiere, videography and photography  

 

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Skills:
    • Hard Skills: Advanced knowledge of Mac computers and peripherals. Must understand color theory, typography and print production best practices.
    • Hands-on hardware/software troubleshooting experience.
    • Soft Skills: Live and breathe all things design, with a passion for learning and continued development of skill set. Strong verbal and oral communication skills, strong customer-service orientation with excellent creative listening skills, ability to present ideas and concepts in understandable terms, analytical and problem-solving abilities, highly organized with keen attention to detail, self motivated and directed, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks under little supervision. Must have experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with high expectations of self and quality of work.
  • Typical Physical Demands:
    • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
    • Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
    • Able to work in an installation setting to install graphics or projects created.
    • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and peripherals.
    • Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
    • Valid Driver’s License.
