Creates a clean and safe environment, and enhances the appearance of the facility. Cleans designated and assigned areas. Procedures include damp dusting horizontal surfaces, vents, trash removal, cleaning/scouring sinks and stools, dry and wet mopping hard surfaced floors, vacuuming carpeting and upholstry, and washing windows, door frames and other vertical surfaces. Stocks paper items as designated, maintains cart and equipment in contained, clean, and working condition. Reports directly to the Environmental Services Manager. Performs all work in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of OHH.
Education: High School graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred
Working Knowledge: Housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
Essential Technical / Motor Skills: Must be able to perform general cleaning and housekeeping duties in assigned area and in accordance with schedules; maintains a high level of cleanliness at all times according to established procedures.
