 OSU – Oklahoma City, located in the heart of Oklahoma City, is looking for a Human Resources Recruitment Specialist.

 

                                               

Job Summary:

 

  

Creates, places and coordinates job ads for internal and external communication. Receives, organizes and tracks resumes and applications for all open positions. Creates, updates, and verifies job descriptions. Creates, places and assist in coordinating training for internal and external requirements. Receives, organizes and tracks completion for all employees. Assists new hires in completing initial employment documents and all onboarding activities. Assists in the overall daily operation of the Human Resource Office.  

 

 

 

Essential Job Functions:

 

1. Creates, places and coordinates job ads for internal and external communication, including updating the Cornerstone, JobOK.com, Inside Higher Ed, Career Arc,and notifying newspapers and updating other relevant websites


2. Updates and maintains all Job Descriptions.


3. Receives, organizes, and tracks resumes and applications for all open positions on Cornerstone.


4. Greets and assists job applicants in completing application packet.


5. Sends recruitment reports to supervisors and track information for EEO/AA, Veterans and ADA Compliance


6. Creates, updates, and verifies compliance training and policy site. Maintains electronic training database and calendar. Assists the departments with statistical reporting on campus.


7. Greets and assists new hires in completing initial employment documents including E-Verify.


8. Assists new and returning adjuncts with employment documents during In-Service orientation each semester


9. Processes informational requests, such as employment verifications


Rate of Pay: $11.66 per hour

 

  

Requirements

 

 

Education:

 

Associate Degree in Human Resources or similar field or equivalent related experience with some college completion

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or similar field


Experience in Human Resources or recruiting


Experience in Learning Management Systems

 

 

 

Work Experience: 

Three years experience in an office support position.

Two years experience in a customer service position.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

 

Ability to handle multiple task and prioritize effectively


High degree of integrity; ability to work in a sensitive, highly confidential and professional environment


Must be adaptable to performing under moderate levels of stress, imposed by frequent deadlines, peak workloads and public/student contact.


Ability to communicate diplomatically, clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing to exchange information, give/receive instructions and respond to inquiries appropriately.

 

Strong interpersonal skills and sensitivity to a multicultural environment in an effort to work and communicate effectively with all students, faculty, staff and community partners.


Demonstrated knowledge of office technologies including but not limited to: office computers, fax machines, scanners, internet, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Accurate typing/data entry skills and demonstrated ability to work with attention to detail.

 

Ability to work independently and also collaborate within a team environment.

 

Exhibit problem solving skills beyond a set of instructions and adapt to changes when necessary.

 

Ability to make appropriate recommendations based on logical and justifiable reasoning.

 

Ability to use analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret written policies and procedures.

 

Passion for assisting customers and representing the OSU brand with positivity and professionalism

 

Evidences a history of demonstrating ethical and professional behavior

 

  

Working Conditions:

 

Work will be performed in an office environment with a significant amount of public contact, in person, by telephone and via email.

 

 

Physical Requirements:

 

Duties require extended periods of sitting, standing, talking, listening and computer usage
