Entry-level Human Resources opportunity to provide support to busy team on all personnel matters. Respond to routine and moderately complex HR inquiries with discretion and judgment. Perform day-to-day responsibilities in HRIS entry and reporting, immigration, recruiting, onboarding, terminations, benefits and employee recordkeeping areas. Submit background checks, process new hires, run and distribute various reports and track review forms. Assist with payroll processing, and verify and maintain I-9 documentation. Assist with employee orientation, act as back up for department assistant, provide project assistance, offer recommendations for processes and perform other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Business Administration, Communication, Finance, Psychology or other related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The successful candidate must be highly detail oriented, adaptable, customer-focused and reliable. Must have general understanding of HR concepts, guidelines, principles, practices and applicable federal and state laws. The ability to multi-task, maintain a high level of confidentiality, function effectively in a team environment as well as independently, work effectively with a highly diverse customer group, and demonstrate basic problem solving skills is essential. Must have excellent computer (MS Office Suite), communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Some relevant, professional HR experience including some exposure to an HRIS preferred.

Work Hours:

Typical hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5 pm.

Physical Demands:

Regularly required to sit, use manual dexterity, talk and hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and lift or move up to 10 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision and ability to adjust focus. Noise level is usually quiet.
