Information Technology (IT) Staff Auditor

An entry level IT auditor position for a responsible person with experience and a desire to gain auditing and IT knowledge as a key member of our internal audit team.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.


Perform in a staff auditor role for selected engagements of information systems, applications and related business processes to identify control weaknesses.


Assist the audit team with performing the audit program steps by developing contacts, scheduling appointments, performing interviews, writing process narratives, and sampling and organizing populations of data.


Obtain, analyze and assess information from multiple data sources. Document information gathered and methods used. Develop spreadsheets used for data analysis and reconciliation. Develop, track and maintain IT Audit projects.


Learn and help develop customer understanding of IT risks and ensure mitigation of noted exposures through facilitation of action plans.


Assist in developing effective communication of findings and control concepts both verbally and in reports to bank management.


Participate in annual SOX and Regulatory testing with external auditors and examiners.

Ability to excel in a team environment


Ability to understand internal control concepts


Ability to research, evaluate, prioritize and interpret information


Bachelors Degree


Strong written and verbal communication skills


Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, etc.


IT and system applications experience


Professional certifications and audit experience a plus


Knowledge of banking industry and regulations, including SOX a plus


Needs to reside and office in the OKC area
