Job Description

Boeing Global Services - Training and Professional Services - Chief Innovation Office - Collaboration has an opportunity for an level 4 Instructional Systems Designer in the St. Louis, Missouri location with a strong Customer-centered development and implementation skillset and an emphasis on end user observation and analysis. 

 

The candidate will understand the entire life-cycle for new products including evaluation of instructional strategies, methods, technologies and tools related to the design, development, and delivery to internal and external customers.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Provide Instructional design skills for multiple projects

 

• Oversee multiple prototype projects with customer centered problem statement solutions in a fast paced design lifecycle

 

• Participate in activities necessary for future development and growth of the Global services environment thru:

 

o Development of future road maps and horizon planning

o Engaging with customers as part of product development needs and problem statement definitions

o Working across business units with aligned development responsibilities

o Creating an environment of change thru rapid technology prototyping and implementation across training environments

o Assist in the evaluation of new instructional strategies, methods, technologies and tools related to instructional design, development and delivery for internal and external customers.

 

• Conduct customer centered evaluations and studies on end-users of training material and operational roles to improve design, development and deployment of products and services.

 

• Collaborate with other skills/roles to determine problem statements and create solutions via rapid prototyping using various instructional methods and processes such as Agile.

Qualifications

Bachelor's and typically 10 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

 

Basic Requirements:

 

▪ Requires 5 years experience testing, analyzing and diagnosing product design problems
 
▪ Requires 5 years experience developing solutions to a wide range of complex technical problems, requiring ingenuity and innovation
 
▪ Must be capable of traveling domestically and internationally 25% of the time
 
▪ Requires a US Passport or the ability to obtain one
 
▪ Requires 5 years experience in both customer centered design and human factors
