BASIC PURPOSE: The Loyalty Systems Analyst roll is to research problems, plan solutions, and recommend software and systems changes to ensure the stable operation of Love’s store technology infrastructure with regards to the Loyalty application processing. This includes interacting with software engineers, systems administrators, project managers, other departments, and vendors to ensure that the software is performing as expected.  .  This individual will apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate and resolve system issues in order to maximize the benefit of Love’s IT systems investments.   

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with key stakeholders in different business units to provide thought leadership and guidance for Loyalty campaigns and promotions that would be setup in the system.
  • Responsible for working with key business stakeholders to create, maintain, and troubleshoot Loyalty promotions within the Loyalty application.
  • Responsible for analyzing and solving issues surrounding the corporate Loyalty platform and system
  • Interface with key vendors to ensure the successful implementation of upgrades, patches and hot fixes.
  • Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business requirement and systems goals, and to identify and resolve business systems issues.
  • Critical thinker who can think “outside” the box with regards to Loyalty, Campaigns and Promotions to help drive innovation and improvement.
  • Work closely with other departments to meet the expectations of the company with regard to Loyalty.
  • Develops scripts and reports to aid in identifying and analyzing issues.
  • Assists others in determining the proper methodology needed to ensure the stability of the Loyalty application.
  • Responsible for maintaining lab environment.
  • Documents all processes, changes, and solutions.
  • Other duties assigned as needed.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science or similar discipline

 Experience:

  • Experience as a Software and/or Systems Analyst preferred
  • 1 year experience in SQL preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of general development concepts and terminology

 

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Skills:

  • Ability to read and understand technical documents
  • Ability to quickly analyze software issues
  • Ability to of managing 100+ emails per day
  • Ability to manage numerous competing demands in an extremely high stress environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Typical Physical Demands:

  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.

Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
