Bimbo Bakeries, USA is looking for a skilled Machine Operator in the Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Bakery to perform various positions within the production of quality bread and bun products.

 

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Loading and unloading pans from production line, oven, and / or proof box,

  • Dumping waste buckets,

  • Filling in for absent positions in production or packaging areas.

  • Reporting and taking any necessary action to prevent food safety and food quality problems from occurring.

  • Ensuring and maintaining a safe environment through compliance of all Company, Local, State and Federal mandates or programs.

  • Creating a Continuous Improvement environment by improving products, service, and processes with the objective to reduce waste within the Region while striving for efficiency and profitability.

  • Separating and disposing of waste accordingly; trash (paper, etc) and salvageable bread (dirty bread for animal feed).

  • Keeping work area clean at all times.

  • Assisting with other tasks as assigned by foreman or supervisor.

Requirements

•Manufacturing experience preferred.
•Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
•Must be able to stand and walk for an 8-hour day; lifting of 50 lbs; continuous pulling, pushing; reaching above shoulder level; wheeling product in and out of trailers and operate machinery safely.
•Position requires flexibility for all three shifts, including weekends and holidays.
•Must be able to communicate and work effectively with all employees
•Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and must also adapt to frequent changes that occur on the production line.

 Successful candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
