The Boeing India Engineering and Technology Center (BIETC) is looking for highly-motivated Manufacturing Engineers.  You will be part of the Boeing Avionics Team and will focus production system development and implementation.  
 
Job Description:
                                                                                                                                                                                
  • You will assist in the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies
  • Participate as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) in the integration of technical solutions
  • Work with others to develop, identify and implement conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build
  • Assist in implementing manufacturing plans
  • Resolve technical problems and assist in the implementation of new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts
  • Assist in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies
  • Interface with professional associations, suppliers, IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and experience.
 
Skills
 
  • Experience in generating detailed Work Instructions for the assembly of CCA and Box-level Avionics products
  • Experience with production/fabrication of Electronics, Avionics and Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs)
  • Experience in Review/Interpretation of High-Reliability Avionics Drawings
  • Lean Manufacturing Methodologies Experience
  • Experience in fabrication processes/systems (for example:  Machine-shop processes, automated Surface Mount Technology systems processes, Conformal Coat processes, etc.)
  • Develop labor standards, layout design, standard work, and balancing the line
  • Strong Organizational Skills. MS Office Proficiency. Excellent Communication Skills.

Qualifications
 
Engineering degree and 8+ years of related work experience, a Master's degree and 7+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
