The Merchandising & Print Production Manager is responsible for planning and managing the MFB Company Store website, all merchandise inventory, as well as the ordering and fulfillment process. The person will also be responsible for authoring a plan to manage, maintain and enhance all Company Store considerations, including internal new product promotions, sale promotions, clearance promotions, process for selecting new items, inventory fulfillment and reporting. This position requires excellent project management, communications and negotiation skills.
The merchandising Manager will also be responsible for placing production (print, A/V and on-hold) orders and assuring timely delivery for campaigns, promotions, direct mail and all other print collateral and sales support materials and assigned. Must maintain and/or build vendor relationships that maximize quality along with project pricing, delivery and fulfillment.
Independently institute company store project plans, schedules and deadlines appropriate to scale of the project, including all deliverables. Have an acute understanding of business lines and respective needs and challenges, MFB brand differentiators and current MFB and industry considerations.
Initiate tactical collaboration with stakeholders to identify and meet goals and objective of a new company store redesign. Utilize all internal marketing channels to distribute and communicate awareness messaging new or clearance store merchandise. Use discretion to manage project risk factors and take independent action to mitigate risk. Serve as expert merchandising representative within MFB to evaluate and devise enterprise-wide solutions and strategies.
Manage implementation of vendor design specifications and/or creative messaging in collaboration with marketing team. Use independent discretion to decide and direct alternative solutions to meet corporate requirements regarding campaigns, targeted marketing, and/or grand openings more efficiently and effectively.
Must be a strong, confident team player with relationship-building and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of creative process including design, copy, and digital and print production
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize projects with tight deadlines.
- Accuracy and detail oriented is critical. Must be deadline driven and highly organized.
- Familiarity with web/interactive portal development
