Job Description


  • Boeing Defense, Space, & Security (BDS) Development Mission Systems is seeking an Electrical/Electronic Equipment lab technician to supports activities to plan, conduct and document tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes and technologies.



  • Design systems, materials, components, software and methodologies to meet customer requirements.
  • Participate in test design and perform routine procurement, fabrication and assembly of components, test fixtures and test systems.
  • Support the coordination of test requirements and assist in review of test methods and capabilities.
  • Facilitate systems integration, fabrication and modification.
  • Provide technical support for system pre-test setup, integration, checkout, and post-test tear-down.
  • Conduct tests, analyze data, and document results.
  • Troubleshoot and recommend resolution of laboratory and test-related problems.

Basic Qualifications (Requirements):

  • This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
  • This position requires an active (or ability to obtain) U.S. Security Clearance, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. 
  • This position requires an Active Secret Security Clearance.

Assets (Preferred):

  • Familiarity with Boeing Security manual and National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) would be a plus as is familiarity with AEW&C or AWACS.
  • Must be willing to travel short term to Domestic or International locations in support of test programs.
  • Work hours for this position are normally first shift, work hours on 2nd or 3rd for extended periods of time may be required to support testing.

Typical Education / Experience:

Level 2:

  • AA degree in related discipline and typically 1 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
