PROJECT ENGINEER:The Stephenson School of Biomedical Engineering offers a

variety of working options, in the lab, office, and field. We offer you the opportunity to work

with a variety of equipment. We offer you the opportunity to excite students with your working

knowledge. We are a growing school with both undergraduates and graduates who need your

expertise with lab equipment. We offer affiliations with other research and industry

organizations in the biomedical field.


SBME: We are a new and growing department at the University of Oklahoma based primarily

in Norman with faculty in Tulsa and affiliations with OUHSC in Oklahoma City.


  • As of 2018, SBME will have 8 different laboratories located on Norman main and south

campuses and in Tulsa.

  • Our new building, Gallogly Hall is scheduled to be finished in 2019 and SBME will be

moving into new offices and labs.


We are looking for a project engineer with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

Technology or Engineering (or a closely related field) and has 12 – 24 months experience in

project management/oversight. We are seeking someone who is an effective oral and written

communicator and able to work through frequent pressures caused by various deadlines and

busy periods.


The salary range will be between $60,000 and $65,000 depending on education and experience.

OU – Norman campus is based in the city of Norman, OK. This is a great place to live
