Description

Paycom develops a variety of software applications currently in use by its client base. Most of these systems are data-centric employee management solutions. Our systems utilize a variety of platforms, including web and windows-based technologies. Paycom’s flagship product, “Paycomonline” (www.paycom.com), is a web-based, online, transaction-processing system. It provides Paycom’s customers central access to their payroll, time and attendance, human resources, benefits information, and more.

The Quality Assurance Analyst will work in a team environment to test and support Paycom’s list of product offerings. This includes:

  • Developing test plans for new software in order to expose flaws and ensure all issues are resolved before code is released to production
  • Offering feedback and input on new software to ensure it meets customer expectations
  • Supporting our Customer Service staff in researching and resolving issues reported internally and by outside customers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Technology required; prior Payroll/HR experience or testing experience is preferred
  • Skills/Abilities
    • Clear Communicator (written and verbal): ability to communicate to diverse groups, including developers and customer service representatives
    • Problem Solver: must love solving puzzles and resolving problems others cannot.
    • Outside-the-Box Thinker: willing and able to come up with ideas and solutions others may not
    • Team Player: capable of working on group and individual projects, along with a willingness to help others
    • Organized: ability manage multiple projects at one time, prioritizing each to ensure all software is thoroughly tested
