OSU – Oklahoma City, located in the heart of Oklahoma City, is looking for a Registrar's Office Assistant

 


Job Summary:

 

Ensures incoming transcripts/audits are processed accurately and in a timely manner. Tracks transfer credits accepted from other institutions of higher learning, assists in tracking the graduation application and audit process, and serves as the front-line contact for the Registrar’s Office.  



Rate of Pay:  $9.28 per hour

 


 

 

Requirements

 

Education:
High school diploma/GED. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Work experience in higher education, preferably in Admissions and Records.

Experience with student information in Banner

 

Work Experience:

Minimum of two years’ experience in a record-keeping/customer service environment or equivalent education 

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

High degree of integrity; ability to work in a sensitive, highly confidential and professional environment

Ability to work and communicate effectively with diverse student, employee and public populations

Ability to handle multiple task and multiple priorities

Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy

Proficient Computer skills  

Working knowledge of college-level student records procedures, documentation, standards and regulations (including FERPA)

Evidences a history of demonstrating ethical and professional behavior

 

Working Conditions:   

Work will be performed in an office environment with a significant amount of public contact, in person, by telephone and via email.  

Evening and weekend hours may be required at times

Extensive Computer use


Physical Requirements: 


Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
