The incumbent will work with the Sales Director to achieve maximum sales profitability and growth in China by effectively selling Boeing's products. Be responsible for handling sales assignments and feedback.
Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  1. Leverages resources and knowledge of Boeing products, services, processes and operations to support customer commitments, gain competitive advantage and foster business growth.
  2. Creates, maintains and advances customer relationships to become a trusted business partner.
  3. Develops in-depth knowledge of customer business, culture, requirements and related topics to gain competitive advantages.
  4. Assists Sales director in sales campaign efforts, including sales visit, frequent contact with existing and potential customer airlines in China, support for sales product presentations, configuration discussions, and contract negotiations for assigned accounts.
  5. Interfaces with customers and internal Boeing resources to keep all parties apprised of key issues.
  6. Works with the Sales Team to provide business case analysis, develop and obtain authorization to proceed with customer solutions.
  7. Leads sales and campaign activities by executing strategies and tactics to foster business growth with acceptable margins.
  8. Assists in preparing proposals by developing themes and discriminators and reviewing the statement of work, cost estimates, executive summary and pricing.
  9. Researches, reviews and analyzes information about competitors' products and services and leverages to improve competitive position and to secure customer and vendor commitments on behalf of The Boeing Company.
  10. Provide support to other sales activities in China, for example sales marketing classes and meetings, Boeing executives' visits to China, customer visits to the United States, air shows and aviation exhibitions in China.
  11. Serve as a liaison person in supporting daily routine after sales activities, including coordinating correspondences from customer airlines to Boeing or vice versa, account payable requirement.
  12. Collect information and data promptly feedback to Seattle regarding customer requirements, market environment and other sales related interest.
  13. Duties subject to change per management requirements.

  2. Able to travel when required within China and to the United States
  3. Aviation and related banking customer knowledge
  4. Aviation financing and leasing knowledge and skill is preferred
  5. Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
  6. Highly proactive and self-motivated. Able to work independently when required
  7. Strong command of spoken and written English and Chinese
  8. More than ten years’ experience in the aviation industry focusing on sales is preferred
