Sales Representative

 

Sales Representative will work closely with other staff members to effectively promote products and services to referral sources and the general public. Responsible for maintaining a well presented, clean, organized, stocked sales floor while providing exceptional customer service to all.

Pay range $10 to $13 per hour, depending on experience. Overtime hours may be available.

 

Physical Qualifications:

  • In an average 8-hour day the employee lifts/carries up to 50 pounds frequently.
  • In an average 8-hour day the employee stands/walks 6 hours.
  • In an average 8-hour day the employee sits 2 hours.
  • The employee lifts/carries up to 80 lbs. maximum.
  • Must be clean & neat in personal appearance.
  • Has a reliable source of transportation  

 

Education:

  • High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred
  • Prior sales and/or retail experience preferred
  • Prior experience with Medical equipment is a plus

 

Experience/Knowledge/Personality:

  • Able to function as a polite and cooperative team member with a positive attitude
  • Good computer skills preferred
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Must be detail oriented and perform tasks in a timely manner
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Able to handle multiple tasks with numerous interruptions
  • People sensitive personality with a desire to help others
  • Able to prepare, submit reports
  • Able to maintain confidentiality

 

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Participates in and attends educational meetings, seminars, and health fairs (or similar community activities) for referral sources, healthcare workers and the community at large
  • Able to answer multiple phone lines, take sales calls and follow-up made. Reports sales activities daily to management.
  • Supports the organization by being loyal and informing management of areas of concern and problems to be resolved
  • Is aware of third party reimbursement requirements, equipment and services offered and necessary documentation
  • Maintains proper documentation for rental equipment and sales in an organized manageable fashion
  • Attend in-store retail sales training meetings
  • Adheres to company policies regarding compliance and confidentiality
  • Perform other duties as deemed appropriate by management
  • Willing to be trained in pertinent areas of equipment/supplies
