Summary

First Fidelity Bank is seeking a Sales Trainer to join our Training team.  Our ideal Sales Trainer has previous sales experience and an innate ability to connect with and develop others. Under the direct supervision of the Director of Training & Quality Services, the Sales Trainer optimizes maximum effectiveness of the training and development function by designing and delivering Salesforce training, bank product training, and sales soft skills and interpersonal skills training. This position will be seen as an advocate for the adoption of Salesforce within the organization and will be tasked with working with users in order to help their skillset grow. The Sales Trainer will measure and evaluate success of sales-specific training events, make adjustments, and seek stakeholder and process-owner feedback to improve work processes and learning designs. The Sales Trainer will also model leadership behaviors consistent with the Bank’s vision and core values while providing service that meets and exceeds expectations.


PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Works with stakeholders, Training team and outside vendors to develop and implement sales, technical, product and professional programs to enhance the skills of our frontline sales, sales support and sales leadership teams. Assists in the identification of future trends and alters training to ensure our sales approach remains relevant and contemporary.

  • Delivers training on Bank products, services and standard business practices. Follows lesson plans and delivers instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, demonstrations, and meetings with a focus on adult learning theory.

  • Serves as the champion for activities related to Salesforce including driving usage, user training, troubleshooting incidents, and partnering with management for systems enhancements and functionality testing.

  • Develops sales-related curricula and teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, quick-reference guides, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials and other reference documents.

  • Utilizes oral and written communication skills and storytelling ability to shape and present content and ideas to various levels of an organization, appropriately representing and building momentum for sales initiatives and material.

  • Work closely with vendor partners to identify the appropriate training approaches and presentation standards required to achieve stated sales results, maintain compliance and enhance the training experience.

  • Serves as a strategic business partner by training and coaching employees on concepts, techniques and standard business practices that engages members in results-based conversations.

  • Monitors and reports on the effectiveness of training programs and may conduct initial needs analysis.

  • As needed, perform administrator functions for the Bank’s Learning Management System which includes creating and loading courses, generating reports, etc.

  • Keeps the Director of Training & Quality Services informed of status and concerns.

  • Additional responsibilities, as assigned by the Director of Training & Quality Services.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • College degree or equivalent position-related work experience (in sales or training).

  • Completion of training and development courses preferred.

  • Demonstrated technical knowledge of e-learning and learning management systems. Experience with Taleo Learn a plus.

  • At least 1+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience. Experience with Salesforce implementations preferred.
