BASIC PURPOSE: Responsibility for optimization of systems and processes throughout their lifecycles from Analysis thru Design, Implementation, Execution and Innovation.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive implementation and improvement projects for Procure to Pay related processes and solutions
  • Responsible for the design, configuration and ownership of Love’s SAP PTP solution (PM/MM/IM, OpenText VIM, Procure to Pay processes)
  • Understand integration points between PM/MM/IM and other SAP modules and external solutions
  • Collaborate with other team leads responsible for related functional areas (Finance to Manage, Order to Cash) and technical teams (Basis, Security, Development)
  • Understand technical architecture and use of solutions such as Process Orchestrator, Gateway, Cronacle and Fiori
  • Lead PTP support team resources, providing guidance, assigning work and evaluating performance
  • Assess break/fix, maintenance and enhancement requests for feasibility
  • Work with business resources to prioritize requests
  • Work with IT resources to ensure coordination and prioritization of work to support business requests and system functionality/performance
  • Review and approve service requests in ITSM and approve transports using Charm
  • Represent functional area in Change Control meetings, reviewing and approving testing and readiness for release in conjunction with business solution owners
  • Quickly understand business needs and translate that understanding into a form that leads to the creation of better solutions
  • Elicit, communicate and manage internal and external customer requirements
  • Analyze and document as-is processes and systems
  • Discover process and system gaps
  • Advise business and IT resources on best practices for PTP solutions
  • Assess and recommend solutions to meet requirements
  • Provide input to establishing performance measurements to be able to control and report end-to-end process and system performance
  • Contribute to and maintain best practice process management approach for Business and IT
  • Contribute to the development of process standards and evaluation of tools as needed
  • Perform feasibility studies/solution reviews
  • Understand and ensure that quality standards are met
  • Other duties assigned as needed

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Experience:
    • 10+ years directly related experience designing,  implementing and supporting SAP PM/MM, Maintain to Settle, Procure to Pay Processes
    • Knowledge of  SAP Project Systems, Sales & Distribution, SAP Transportation Management , SAP Warehouse Management , Vertex, preferred
    • Experience with Fiori preferred
    • Experience with OpenText Vendor Invoice Management preferred
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship

 

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Skills:
    • Knowledge of SAP ECC 6.0, Fiori applications, OpenText VIM, ITSM/Charm, Business Intelligence, data warehousing, application and design integration, SOA, ABAP, web services and workflow/process automation
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of tools, including MS Visio
    • Knowledge of Winshuttle or LSMW
    • Strong Problem assessment/analytical skills
    • Capable of thinking of the big picture and sorting through an ambiguous environment
    • Ability to work within resource and time constraints
    • Ability to manage 200+ emails per day
    • Ability to manage numerous competing demands in an extremely high stress environment
    • Ability to manage others
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Typical Physical Demands:
    • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping
    • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
  • Requires normal range of hearing and vision
