Are you a self-motivated IT Professional with a strong technical background in IT Systems Administration? Do you have a talent for evaluating technology trends for company adoption? Are you good at investigating and resolving software and hardware problems? WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Designing, performing capacity planning, tuning, administering, monitoring, and managing the enterprise infrastructure to include the following: network systems, VOIP, virtualization solutions; domain controllers; storage management (Storage Area Networks (“SAN”); Direct Attached Storage (“DAS”); Network Area Storage (“NAS”); messaging systems; software applications; print and other servers, and servicing workstations.

  • Planning, designing, coordinating, implementing and managing various enterprise systems.

  • Installing, tuning, and enforcing enterprise-wide operating system software.

  • Working collaboratively with business units to identify, test and evaluate software and hardware solutions.


YOU MIGHT BE A GREAT FIT IN OUR IT DEPARTMENT IF...

 

YOU HAVE THE YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of experience in banking or IT. 3+ years of experience in Systems Administrator role.

  • 2+ years of experience with network solutions, such as routers, switches, and firewalls.

  • Some experience with software development terms and techniques, like Version Control, Test Driven Development, CI/CD, and Test Automation.

  • Some experience with cloud technologies like Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Microsoft O365.

 

YOU HAVE ADVANCED KNOWLEDGE IN THESE AREAS:

  • Windows Server 2008/R2 and 2012 Server platforms with an emphasis on Active Directory and security best practices.

  • Installing and configuring database systems, such as SQL Server.

  • Enterprise corporate messaging and collaboration systems such as Microsoft Exchange.

  • Microsoft Windows XP/7/8/8.1 and 10 operating systems.

  • Microsoft Windows CE platform/thin client and Dell WYSE.

  • Windows print servers, domain controllers and all associated Windows services.

  • Windows scripting, PowerShell, PowerShell DSC, and/or Configuration Management tools like Puppet, Ansible, or Chef.

  • Printers, printer drivers and printer set up on a Windows Active Directory platform.

  • LAN and WAN infrastructure including firewalls, routing, VPN, DHCP, WINS, DNS, IP v4, IP v6 and NIC configurations.

 

YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION AND CERTIFCATIONS

  • High School Degree/GED. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

  • Technical certifications required: ; VMware or Hyper V Virtualization.

  • Technical certifications preferred:Microsoft Exchange; Microsoft Active Directory; Network Certification preferred (Network+ or Cisco certification).
