Job Description

Boeing Defense, Space & Security is seeking an experienced (Level 4) Organization Designation Authorization (ODA) Program Certification Support Analyst. This position is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

This position is for an ODA Program Support Analyst with the Boeing Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) ODA office. As an ODA Program Support Analyst, this person will be managing various aspects including data and
program management of the ODA/FAA activities. This person will utilize their existing understanding of the FAA 14 CFR Part 25 to develop approaches to address certification challenges and manage certification of STC projects. This person will work within FAA orders 8110.4, 8100.15 and 8110.101. This person will be expected to work under general or minimal direction.

This position will assist the assigned Program ODA Associate Administrator and help with the following tasks, as needed:

  • Management of Unit Member (UM) priorities
  • Management of certification tasks, including the STC Project file, on behalf of the FAA
  • Develop Type Certification Boards materials
  • Manage FAA correspondence and meeting minutes
  • Finalize certification issues reviews to assure proposals are ready for FAA review
  • Provide regulatory guidance to program IPT certification focal
  • Provide 2nd level issue resolution
  • Act as a liaison to the FAA
  • Provide task direction to the ODA Support Staff

Basic Qualifications

  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
  • Minimum Bachelor's and 9 years' experience managing FAA certification projects. (10 or more years' experience is preferred.)
  • Familiarity with FAA STC certified derivative aircraft/projects.
  • Current experience with FAA certification requirements and FAR regulations (specifically 14 CFR part 25) including knowledge and working experience with FAA certification processes.


Preferred Skill

Experience as an FAA designee or company representative of an ODA.



Typical Education / Experience

Technical bachelor's degree and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 7 or more years' or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.
