Training Content Writer

Experienced Undisclosed USA-OK-Oklahoma City Negligible Full Time Day 4 Year Degree General Business


The Training Content Writer is responsible for overseeing and managing materials utilized for the Paycom Employee and Client Training Programs as well as other content utilized by the Training Department. This role will help coordinate, manage and execute all aspects regarding eLearning courses and training content such as developing curriculum and graphics, creating SCORM courses, communicating with subject matter experts and managing content.


  • Coordinate, manage, and execute all necessary aspects of the Training Content Team's eLearning program
  • Assess the need for new content for a variety of programs, including online employee resources
  • Design and develop elements for SCORM Courses, and keep them up to date



  • Bachelors Degree required.

Experience Required:

  • 0 2 years experience in training preferred.
  • 0-2 years experience in graphic design or related field strongly preferred.
  • Experience in Instructional Design, SCORM packaging, Adobe Creative Suite and Content Development strongly preferred.


  • Experience using Captivate, Storyline, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Familiar with content management systems-SharePoint 2016 preferred
  • Excellent communication, technical writing and editing skills-AP Style preferred
  • Ability to retain an abundance of information in a minimal amount of time
  • Adapts quickly and easily to new situations
  • Superior command of the English language including rules and usage
  • Strong analytical, planning, organizational and time management skills
  • Visually organize content for learning purposes using materials gathered from subject matter experts
  • Proven ability to design creative, unique and relevant content
  • Interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to meet aggressive deadlines
