BASIC PURPOSE: The primary purpose of this position is to assist various branches of Trillium CNG in day to day functions of CNG project development.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Developing an understanding of Natural Gas Infrastructure
  • Interact and collaborate with other departments and operations

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required
  • Currently enrolled in four year university program, a sophomore level or above (pursing a Bachelor’s Degree in Any Major).
  • Experience:
  • Past Internship experience a plus but not necessary

  • Skills:
  • Hard Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Soft Skills: Keen attention to detail, strong oral and verbal communication skills, organization skills, critical thinker and team player

  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.

What to expect.

You will run the store, restaurant and tire care concepts in a Love′s Travel Stop location. You′ll be working in a fast-paced environment. One moment you′ll be in the store, the next minute you may be helping out in the tire care, and then jumping on the line to help out in the restaurant. BASIC PURPOSE:

This person will be a member of an operation crew charged with responsibility for safely and effectively operating a loading and unloading facility in Kingman AZ.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform the duties of a biodiesel outside operator in a daily operational shift environment, including overtime, holiday, weekends, and nights.
  • Possess a detailed, and up to date, working knowledge of all biodiesel equipment and operations. 
  • Has the responsibility to control the operation of the facility, and must do so in a safe and efficient manner and be in compliance with all environmental permits and all safety regulations at all times.   
  • Perform truck loading-unloading activities on regular bases. 
  • Support railcar unloading activities whenever required, which includes connecting and disconnecting railcars, opening manways if required, and inspecting railcar etc.
  • Effectively communicate to supervisory and fellow facility personal relative to the condition of the facility equipment and performance, and provide suggestions for facility improvements. 
  • Correct abnormal conditions by taking appropriate corrective action. 
  • Responsible for continuously monitoring all facility equipment on hourly bases, ensuring safe and correct operations, while recording/reporting status updates and pertinent information in the shift log book. 
  • Communicate all pertinent activities to the operation manager on duty. 
  • Fill out all forms required for that shift. 
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. 
  • Maintaining professional communication and attitude in dealing with all personnel.
  • Attend and complete all trainings and safety meetings as required.
  • Carry out all other assigned duties. 
  • General labor work as needed to maintain a safe work environment.

EDUCTION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent basic computer knowledge, have knowledge of safety regulations, 1-2 years’ experience required, ability to respond in emergency situations, work within and insure strict adherence to all safety practices and procedures. Must have valid driver license, must have attention to detail, being able to handle stress, having the ability to think analytically and being able to work as a part of a great team.

 

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to speak, read, and write English.  Must possess basic math skills.  Must be willing to work a rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, overtime and on-call shifts as dictated by business needs. Position requires the ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds.

Must be willing to work outside in inclement weather.  Ability to work outdoors, indoors, and periodically in dusty environments. Must have the ability to operate a forklift. This position requires a normal range of hearing and vision (color, acuity, distance, and depth).    Must comply with OSHA guidelines and company policy regarding personal protective equipment.  Ability to ascend and descend stairs, ladders, and work in elevated areas of the terminal with or without accommodation.  Willingness to support all Health, Safety, Security and Environmental policies, procedures and programs including random drug and alcohol testing.  Must reside within 60 minutes of the facility, or be willing to relocate without assistance.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for building and maintaining reports and other documentation for the safe transfer of petroleum products between a variety of containers.
  • Responsible for communicating with dispatch, customers, vendors and other employees as needed.
  • Required to follow all applicable federal, state and local company regulatory rules and regulations that are in accordance with documentation of product transfer and commercial transportation.
  • Responsible for performing regulated safety inspections including but not limited to: pre and post trip vehicle inspections, lease safety inspections, and delivery location inspections.
  • Responsible for submitting or maintaining regular inspections and reports; DVIR reports.
  • Will be responsible for testing and measuring petroleum product samples including but not limited to: BS&W measurement, API measurement, tank strapping, tank bottom measurement, etc.
  • Could be involved with documentation with all incident investigations and submit reports as required.
  • Comply with the utmost safety and security standards and expectations for all operations and locations.
  • Responsible for equipment cleanliness, testing equipment care, and minor maintenance on all operated equipment.

Requirements

DOCUMENT REQUIREMENTS:

  • Each driver must have a Commercial Driver’s License and other appropriate endorsements(HazMat, Tanker, Doubles/Triples) and state requirements to be carried in truck cab while driver is in service.
  • Each driver must qualify physically, and obtain a Medical Examiner’s Certificate, under the requirements of 49 CFR, Section 391 43-49 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • 2 years of verifiable over-the-road driving experience.
  • Knowledge of all applicable DOT and Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Be able to any shifts on any day/s.
  • Ability to hook and unhook trailers when required.
  • The ability to drive for up to 11 hours and work a total of 14 hours, while transporting hazardous materials and sitting for extended periods of time in a truck tractor.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and meet the qualifications in 49 CFR Section 391.11(b)(1) of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Must be able to read and speak the English language, in accordance with 49CFR Section 391.11(b)(2) of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
  • The ability to walk, bend, reach, push, stoop, squat, and climb, as necessary, to perform vehicle inspections required under 49 CFR Sections 396.11-15 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
  • The ability to walk, bend, reach, push, stoop, squat, as well as grasp, lift, and handle heavy equipment as necessary, to ensure safety during the hooking and dropping processes of tractor/trailer combinations. as well as climb upon the trailer when necessary (for instance, to ensure closure of dome lids following loading or unloading), also when dealing with sections of hose that may exceed 20’ in length, measure as many as 4” in diameter, and weigh as much as 75 lbs. This is to ensure safe and proper practice when coupling, and when disconnecting hose.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
  • Requires normal range of hearing, vision and smell.

JOB SUMMARY: An Area Tire Care Manager will perform various daily manager duties by overseeing, directing and coordinating activities among multiple tire shops to best serve our customers. An area tire care manager may also be required to provide tire service to customers as needed.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and verify that tire care employees are doing the same
  • Recognize and resolve customer issues or complaints by determining optimal solutions in a timely manne
  • Collaborate with local District Manager to effectively manage employee turnover and retention. Recruit, hire, train, evaluate and coach employees. Make personnel changes as necessary
  • Responsible for having familiarity with talent stop to ensure onboarding of new employees is happening properly
  • Utilize the Learning Management System and other necessary training tools to verify that training is complete and consistent. Responsible for following up on training regularly
  • Address employee issues in an appropriate and timely manner. Utilize the progressive discipline policy to manage employee issues. Collaborate with the local District manager as necessary to manage employee issues
  • Ensure proper labor management and effective scheduling at each tire care location
  • Delegate tasks as needed and follow-up with employees to ensure that tasks are being completed
  • Verify proper invoicing and payment processing for services performed at each location
  • Effectively manage fleet of tire care trucks and ensure each location is taking proper care of tire care truck, and providing routine safety training to prevent accidents in the tire care truck
  • Identify areas of opportunity on the monthly P&Ls and 13 weeker reports and implement plans to correct any issues
  • Ensure each tire shop facility is clean, organized and secure
  • Ensure HAZCOM Manuel and Safety Data Sheets are being updated regularly
  • Promote safety-first work practices. Maintain a safe facility and use safety first practices to remain accident free
  • Maintain personal grooming standards
  • Other duties assigned by your supervisor

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education:
    • HS Diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience:
    •  2+ Years’ in tire, diesel mechanics, auto parts/repair, lube express, or facilities maintenance
    • 2+ Years’ supervising and training unit managers
    • 2+ Years’ managing operations with an annual sales volume of $1+million
    • 2+ Years’ effecting and deciphering budgets and P&L statements for multiple units
    • Previous fleet management experience preferred
    • Certifications:
      • DOT Certified
      • Requirements:
      • Must have a valid driver’s license
      • Must have a clean and consistent record of safety

BASIC PURPOSE: The primary purpose of the Division Merchandising Manager is to work with the store management teams and ensure a successful merchandising program. This position will analyze individual store performance, train store staff on the expected merchandising execution standards, inspect and follow-up on consistency and quality of execution, and maintain sales trends and margin growth to meet and/or exceed budgeted goals for locations within the assigned division.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop store teams’ knowledge on sales and margin growth through consistent execution of merchandising strategies
  •  Work with each store management team to analyze and develop successful merchandising programs centered on team development, training and follow-up
  •  Perform in-store quarterly merchandising inspections to help in the development of the teams to create a consistent level of merchandising throughout assigned stores
  •  Communicate with various operations teams on all aspects of merchandising issues and follow-up items on a daily basis to insure consistency
  •  Work with outside vendors to insure merchandising programs are run according to Love’s standards
  •  Foster a collaborative working relationship with vendor partners and store teams to ensure positive and profitable merchandising performance
  •  Analyze assigned stores profit and loss statements and sales trends
  •  Ensure assigned stores maintain sales and margin growth by meeting and/or exceeding budgeted goals
  •  Responsible for follow-up on execution of all active promotions within assigned store
  •  Responsible for developing talent in assigned stores to become "merchandising champions" within your assigned division
  •  Additional tasks and all other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or related field or equivalent years of work experience required

 Experience:

o 2+ years of management or supervisory experience preferred

o 2+ years of merchandising experience preferred

o Accounting or financial budgeting experience preferred

5 to 8 years experience as a retail general manager or assistant general manager required; Mulit-Unit experience preferre

  • You might have to lift and move equipment around that could weigh up to 50lbs. Is that a problem?
  • We′re on our feet a lot and an 8 hour shift could be all standing. Would you be ok standing for long periods?
  • Can you work a flexible schedule that could include some nights, days, weekends and even some holidays?

We want everyone who joins the Love′s family to succeed and we mean that! Our Road to Success Program was created for you. We provide leadership and management skills training and full apprenticeships for those just starting out. Once you′re a manager, the training goes even further with a two day workshop at Love′s University. There you′ll experience dynamic days with other managers and leaders, including our CEO Tom Love and senior executives. Our Road to Success program is such a valuable experience for career growth and for you personally, we wish the whole country could participate.

We're passionate about serving drivers with clean, modern facilities stocked with plenty of fuel, food and supplies. Love's has two primary kinds of stores. Our 'Country Stores' are fueling stations with a convenience store attached. The larger 'Travel Stops' are located on interstate highways and offer additional amenities such as food from popular restaurant chains, trucking supplies, showers and more.
