Tutors - Student Success and Opportunity Center

 

 

Job Summary:

 

The Student Success & Opportunity Center is a center dedicated to providing quality tutoring services for students at OSU-OKC. SSOC tutors are certified through the National Tutoring Association training and tutor students in study skills and their specialized area(s) including:

• Math

• Writing

• Accounting

• Anatomy

• Biology

• Physics

• Chemistry

• American Sign Language

• Spanish

• Tutoring in sign-language

 

Rate of Pay:

$7.64 per hour

 

Requirements

Education:

High School/GED

Received an “A” in desired course(s) to tutor

 

Experience:

Previous work in an education setting

 

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

Advanced knowledge of study skills and habits of successful students

Must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication skills

Dependable

Organized

Detail oriented
