Position Description:

This is a full-time, professional position primarily responsible for providing space planning and furniture solutions that meet the goals and objectives of the Bank and its business units. The Corporate Space Planner will manage and implement plans, interface with the business units, applying knowledge to forecast space requirements in the changing workplace, and develop executable floor plans to support corporate objectives.

Drive schedule for data collection, compilation, and analysis of existing space plans and occupants.
Provide space plans to meet the identified needs, maximize safety, efficiency and effectiveness.
Provide test fits and layout options as needed.
Provide high graphic quality presentations for senior management.

Develop and execute move plans for personnel and equipment with other support departments.
Manage office furniture purchases and installations at all OK MidFirst facilities.

Complete on site annual assessment of OK banking center furnishings.
Develop the annual budget for repair and/or replacement of the banking center furnishings based on the annual inspections.
Manage the purchase and installation of the approved furniture recommendations in the banking centers.

Develop scaled plans and 3D graphic renderings of proposed lay-outs .
Manage design development of various refresh and new construction projects.
Maintain design criteria, standards, finishes library and electronic plan room.
Coordinate with Construction Department to implement plans.

1. 3-5 years’ experience with interior design, space planning and furniture specifications.
2. Develop detailed presentation documents.
3. Read and create plans, furniture layouts, and graphic presentations.
4. Excellent written and verbal skills to communicate with employees and managers.
5. Computer skills required:
a. Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project
and MS PowerPoint.
b. Proficiency in AutoCAD required.
c. Proficiency in Sketchup or other 3D
rendering software preferred.
d. Basic accounting skills utilizing MS Excel to
track project costs vs. budget.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Generally in a normal office environment.
TRAVEL: This job will require travel to MidFirst facilities throughout the state; occasional travel out of state.
HOURS: Typical 40 hours per week; will require work hours beyond the typical work week and some weekends.

Position Requirements:

Requirements for this position include a Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years’ of relevant experience in architecture/design, space planning, project management. Certified NCIDQ designation, RID is preferred, but not required.

Successful candidates will possess significant knowledge of programming, design and documentation processes, procedures and standards. Position also requires a proven ability to rely on extensive knowledge and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Must also lead, direct and coordinate various projects and perform a variety of tasks, with creativity, organization and follow through.
