SUMMARY

The Process Automation Systems Analyst is part of the Data Analytics team that supports the entire organization in developing, programming and supporting various automation software tools as well as building automated workflows of organizational processes.  The Process Automation Systems Analyst also troubleshoots and works with end-users to insure the systems meets their needs and keeps pace with changes in program operations, policies and procedures.

PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administer and support of the business applications for loan operations, deposit operations, online banking as well as workflow and robotic process automation (RPA) tools plus other software as assigned.
  • Develop and implement complex system workflows and automated processes.
  • Backup administration of SalesForce environment.
  • Develop and create customized reports and dashboards.
  • Create and document application requirements by working together with those involved in the development of program enhancements and changes including outside consultants as needed.
  • Manage the software testing and quality assurance process.
  • Keep abreast of new features and functionality of managed software and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Train new and existing users on how to use the software applications.
  • Keep application users informed about status of system functionality and enhancements.
  • Provide application users with technical support.
  • Log and track identified system problems through resolution.
  • Create and maintain documentation on processes, policies, application configuration and help related materials for users as database applications are developed.
  • Contribute to driving adoption, user training and value for the organization.
  • Must maintain strong knowledge of best practices.
  • Support the bank management as needed.
  • Support strategic planning initiatives as needed.
  • Follow bank policy and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors and/or Advanced Degree in Computer Science, MIS or another technological field or equivalent technical work experience

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2+ years business/data system administration or process automation experience

OTHER REQUIREMENTS (SKILLS, ABILITIES, CHARACTERISTICS):

  • Experience with workflow or RPA tools such as UIPath, Automation Anywhere or Foxtrot.
  • Experience with programming languages such as SQL, Python, JavaScript, Java or Apex.
  • Experience with relational databases and data integration tools such as SQL Server, SSIS, Informatica.
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms such as MS Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud desired.
  • Knowledge of banking operations and processes highly desired.
  • Proven self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team on multiple projects.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to use critical thinking to solve complex variables using demographics, existing client data, and external information.
  • Close attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in working with all levels of colleagues within the bank.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to work within a routine office environment.
  • Ability to travel from one office location to another.
